Rudy Robles, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 during his stay at the VA Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Rudy was born on April 10, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas, to parents Reynaldo and Alvina Robles. Rudy graduated from Lanier High School, and soon after, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as an aviation mechanic. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, Rudy dedicated time to growing his family and establishing his career with a local newspaper company in San Antonio. This position brought him and his family to Houston, Texas where he began working for the Houston Post and Houston Chronicle. Realizing he had a passion for press printing, he founded his own press printing business. Rudy was undoubtedly a loving, caring, devoted husband, father and grandfather who had a passion for the outdoors. Although Rudy has left this Earth, he will forever live within his family's hearts.

Rudy is now in heaven, reunited with his first love Rachel Vasquez Robles and his parents Reynaldo and Alvina Robles. Rudy is also preceded in death by his brothers Ray and Victor Robles, his sons Rodolfo Moises and Samuel Jon Robles, his daughter Barbara Ann Robles, his grandchildren Rudy Robles III and Jeremiah Lee Chesson, and his great grandchildren Gowen Drake Robles and Noah Jacob Rocha.
